Welcome to Randall's PTA web site! The Randall PTA is a self governing body organized for the purpose of planning programs and activities which meet the needs of the Randall School Community. It also is chartered in conformity with rules and regulations prescribed in the bylaws of the California State PTA. The California State PTA is a branch of the National PTA, a volunteer educational organization, founded in Washington D.C. in 1897.

 

The mission of PTA in California is

 

To support and speak on behalf of all children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.

 

To assist parents in developing the skills they need to nurture children.

 

To promote parent and public involvement in school and communities.

 

Membership

We encourage all families to join PTA. Your membership fee will go directly toward special activities and projects that will improve our school. You are under no obligation to attend the monthly meetings, although all parents and teacher input is greatly appreciated. Membership in the PTA us a true expression of support of Randall School.
